- Sprinkles- Needs a foster with no other cats or be able to be separate due to FIV+
- Behavior fosters
- Riley- It would be amazing to know how she is in a home setting to help promote her.
- Winny- Needs to wind down and have some positives to talk about with adopters.
- Leo- Needs a quite environment where he can show his true self.
Med concerns:

Ongoing medical animals:
Sprinkles- Sprinkles has had some mild changes on x-ray to
indicate that she may be starting to heal. We will be rechecking her in 3 weeks
to confirm if there is any additional improvement.
Simba – our cystitis cat from last week was taken to Woods
for adoption. We hope he will find a loving home.
Shiloh- was taken home with one of our volunteers over the
weekend and was able to meet and spend time with her original finder. She will
be adopted by the finder and should be home with her by tomorrow. Her leg was
fully healed at her last recheck 😊
Dexter- the Boston Terrier was adopted this week by our
Char, who also volunteers here.
Yeti- the big Great Pyrenees has been neutered and is now
available. We hope that he will be adopted soon. He has a funny haircut from
being shaved to remove all of his foxtails, but is slowly warming up and
medically is doing well.
Diesel- has a little wound on his nose from a nip but should
do just fine. It was cleaned and will be monitored.
Tula- her second ringworm culture is looking negative, so we
hope to be able to get her out for adoption this coming week.
Gator- still receiving his medicated bathes, skin treatments
and antifungal medications. You may notice that he is really starting to grow
some hair back, FINALLY!
Bo- has a small hairless patch on her nose. It was checked
out and no cause for concern (it isn’t ringworm 😊)
Moose- has some hairless and does have some areas of Demodex
mange. This is not contagious to other dogs and he has been treated. He is going
to be available with a medical waiver.
Borte- the Rott has an injury to the left eye. We are giving
her pain medication to keep her comfortable and the owner will be given an
order for follow up care. She is currently under vet care by her owner who has
expressed interest in redeeming all of the dogs. We will be reassessing daily.
