Dillon and Delilah

After they are altered next week they will be made available for adoption! For the time being they can go for walks as long has they seem comfortable, hang out in a yard together and you can even spend time in the kennel with them.

Delilah and Dillon are 7-month-old Great Pyrenees that came to us after being hit by a car. They were taken right away to the emergency vet for treatment. It was then we learned that Delilah had fractured both legs on her left side and Dillion had a fractured vertebrae in his spine, along with various cuts and scrapes. Once they were stabilized, we brought them back to the shelter to recover. They are not too sure about things in life, like leashes and new environments, but are learning and have routines down well. They are both very sweet and happy dogs that will need a patient environment to work with them and show them life isn’t scary. Dillion seems to not have any linger issues, but Delilah’s front leg is mostly functional. It may get better with time, or it may not. While we would like for them to go together, we know that may not be possible, and think they would be fine apart as well.

Old lab

We love him. Completely non-reactive when my little dog nipped him 3 times. Not deaf. Sweet AF. House broke. Gonna teach him how...
